How would you feel if you were told there was a meth lab right next door to your home, but its ok because the police knew about it last year, they just forgot to tell you? That is exactly what happened to the Davidsonville Elementary School last week. This raises an important issue regarding the relationship the local police department has with its community. Do we have a right to know what is going on in our community without having to ask? 12 months is a long time for someone to find out toxic substances were manufactured right next to an elementary school.

Next time you see a sketchy neighbor, give him/her a good look in the eye and try to see if you can figure out what they are doing. Even if they are doing something malicious and subsequently get caught, you won’t find out until months later…so start your detective work early on! Are there any other sketchy corners of Annapolis that we all mutter under our breath but no one speaks about openly?

It’s “Davidsonville” Elementary.
10-4. Crazy story eh? Makes you wonder what all the other sketchy houses in Annapolis are up to…
